Former WAAF jock Bob Rivers, creator of the Gold-selling holiday chestnut Twisted Christmas, is the country’s most prolific producer of song parodies. One of his latest, “Al Gore’s Travelin’ Global Warming Show,” spoofs Al Gore’s controversial documentary (of sorts), An Inconvenient Truth (and its cult of celebrity), note-perfect to the tune Neil Diamond’s “Brother Love’s Travelin’ Salvation Show.” The hilarious video for the song can be viewed at www.BobRivers.com, and the song can be downloaded there for free, as can a vast archive of past hits. Rivers can be heard weekdays 5am-10am (PST) on Seattle’s KZOK 102.5 FM, as well as streaming online at www.KZOK.com. –Robert Newton
